“Our 25-year-old heater was experiencing major issues (starting in 2020 and 2021). We called Elite, and Shawn inspected our unit (the furnace jets and heat exchanger were gone). We asked a lot of questions and received a full understanding of what our options were and the next steps. Within a few hours, he came back with several heating and AC choices depending on cost/quality. In 1 hour, he informed us that units we chose were available nearby, and they would send an install team the next day. It took about 7 hours for basically 2 guys to remove the old units (heat was under the house in a tight crawl space) and install the new ones. One of the installers basically stayed under the house all day while Steven worked outside and assisted his brother under the house when needed. I asked questions during this time and watched them perform their work. They took extra care to make sure things were right and working properly before leaving. Even the owner came and stopped to check on the work and talk to us inside. Then Shawn came the next day to exchange a new thermostat and do some final repairs on our old vent lines. Since 1 line was torn during work (they are old and worn, to say the least), Shawn came back another day to fix that last line with better wrapping material. During the whole process, I received texts, phone calls, and emails to alert me every step of the way. So far, the heater has performed fine for several days. The thermostat was a nice upgrade too, from our original HG one. Time will tell about the durability of the Rheem systems, but everything was done very well and professional to this point. I would not hesitate to call Elite if you need work done on your home.”
